About Pre-orders and Back-orders

Understanding Backorders and Pre-orders with Atomic Workwear. 

Some items sell out quickly or may have been unavailable for an extended period. For this reason we allow Backorders / Pre-orders on some items. This page is designed to help you understand our process. 

About the process: 

Some items in the store, when sold out, will show a pre-order button allowing you to purchase the item that is currently out of stock. Once the item is back in stock, it will be dispatched to you. This ensures that you get the garments you want as soon as they become available and allows us to better forecast demand and ensure consistent production times. Products will typically be available for pre-order or backorder a maximum of three months before expected stock arrival, but in most cases, the due date will be around 30 days. 

Due Dates:

The expected ship date will be shown at the time of purchase. These are only an estimate and are subject to change; if the expected date changes we will notify you. Sometimes events outside of our control can cause delays, such as geopolitical events, blockages of shipping routes, and other things. We will endeavour to ensure you are kept up to date with any changes to expected delivery dates. 

Payments:

Most items will offer a part or full payment on pre-orders, allowing you to pay now and know your item will arrive with you as it becomes available. If you change your mind at any point, we can cancel your order at any time before dispatch. If the item is recived and you change your mind, you are covered by our regular returns policy. Most items will also be offered with a backorder / Pre-order discount as an apology from us for the item not being currently in stock. 

Dispatch: 

Our warehouse team work hard to ensure the timely dispatch of goods, which means items are typically dispatched the same day or the following day of recipt to our warehouse.
